The new WagonR Auto

Peeps, the Maruti internet site shows that the new WagonR is available with a 3-speed auto tranny. What I would like to know is :
1. does the auto come with ABS and airbags - even as an option?
2. opinion of an owner (not heresay) who has purchased the new WagonR in auto version.

I guess, NO! As its clearly mentioned on site as well as in the broucher that ABS and Airbags are available as optional exclusively in VXi.

They should get teh swift in automatic trans. Specially when the swift diesel comes out.

A friend of mine is interested in WagonR AX. Anybody know what the best deal in Mumbai is, after discounts etc?

I think Santro AX with 4 speed transmission is a better option.

the AX is nothing but VXI with auto transmission, hence it should have all the features of the VXi plus the auto transmission.
