Looks good Deal to ME.

I am new on forums. I booked 1.6 Sport (Red) here in Pune and I will be getting it for about 4.55. Finance from ICICI and delivery *should* be fast. I still think, it's cheaper to get it Delhi.

Am i missing something here? I am also looking for the same. But the best deal I got is 4.8L on road. Can you please let me know the break up of all the items? I don;t think there should be a difference of 30k. Are you opting for Extended warranty?

while still looking good and powerful I feel it to be outdated now. It has not changed since its inception around 2002.

Tata did give it some minor cosmetics, but it badly needs a revamp now. Its still a good car but it needs update to make it better.

Just my 2 cents.

hi mark,i bought my 1.6 sport around 4 months back.paid 4,98,000 on the road(cochin) after discounts.guess now they are offering even bigger discounts though i am not sure how much.i feel they will first clear-off existing stock before they start manufacturing-i am saying this because my palio had some rusted screws!!i noticed it only after 1 month of delivery.could be an isolated incident.
agreed devarshi, its slightly old now.especially the interior plastics.but the main reason to go for it is the performance aspect-there are still very few cars that can beat the 1.6 for the price!!

guys, although i have been posting on my own thread but since you all are talking about pricing and discount so..

i feel you can push them for 80 to 85000 eaisly secondly i found an interesting thing today, three month ago fourtune nerul has quoated me an emi of 8626 on a loan amt of 4,20,000 now although they are claiming to be giving discount the recent quoate they gave me was 9100 on the same amount sbi offered 8848. yup they made up for the discount in the emi so be watchful, booking my palio today happy dasheshra to everyone here

Congratulations Markiv,
Have a great time painting the the town red.Now for some modifications to your signature here.
By the way, someone on another thread in the what car section is contemplating a Palio 1.6.But he finds the engine a bit unresposive at low speeds.I think it will be great if you can enlighten us on that thread about your experience with your new beast.
