I agree with you mate, the visibility for swift, especially rear is pathetic. No wonder I see most of the swifts damaged around the fenders. Trust me we are gonna see a lot of tinkered Swifts in the used car market (poor resale value du to this) at low prices. My vote goes for the Getz Prime or if you can wait, Getz Prime CRDi

At the kind of money you have (6 lakhs OTR) and based on your shortlisted cars my priority list would be
1. THe Chevy U-Va
again 1.(since i feel they are more or less equal) The Hyundai Getz 1.3 and 3.The MAruti Swift VDi (common man dont go for an estillo when you've got 6L)

The Chevy has space, and the ride comfort is pretty decent. THe only negative would be that you might feel a little underpowered during high speed overtakings on the higways. You need to give space for the 3 year 1L warranty when you think of the higher price of the car. verall i feel its a decent package.

The Hyundai is also good enough but can not say much as i dont have much info on this car.

The Swift VDi could save you some money on petrol bills. But after a Palio i dont think you would like the ride comfort. The seats (especally back) are not that good and the suspension is a bit hard.

ESTILLO......No man.
