Lord Lucan,

I had a TD on VXi earlier, the sole reason why this thread was started :-). I drove the LDi to show my wife comfort and would be taking another drive with her today in the VXi again.

@Rocky : Congrats on the decision to go for the VXi. Do try and get the ABS version, if finance permits.

Thanks buddies.

One test drive of Swift left me astonised and resorted to Swift Vxi from a choice of sub3L cars. One test drive of VDi and You know the rest :-)
Keeping my fingers crossed.
Have booked Sunlight Copper colour.

@benbsb and Vikram, I just couldnt think of any other thing after a TD on VDI, not even VXI

@ravik, for VXi there was an additional 5k cash discount offered for corporates and since my wife works for an MNC, we were offered 10K cash discount and usual freebies. Now that the diesel excitement has set in, am forgetting and forgiving MUL for no discounts, just give me the damn VDi soon

Can you please let me through which dealer you booked the car and what is the waiting period. I have been told that the wait time is around 8 months.

Yipppeeeeeeeee: New member to the family

Hi TBhpians,

Very Happy to share this news with Ya all.
A new member to the family, , took Red VDI delivery today.

Went to the dealer at 8:30AM, verified the pre-delivery checklist We have here, checked the vehicle, completed the paperwork and drove the car successsfully with 55kms on the odo.

Was accompanied by a sales rep from the dealership all the way home. As i had to get back to work at ECity, have parked the newbie at home.

Thank You all.
No net at home, so pics and first drive report coming up soon.

Benny,

Have planned Alloys and tyres for tomorrow, but some pre-engagement timings are clashing so have to check the possibility.
