@shuvd: I beg to disagree with you. You're right for small acc. such as Wheel caps, Left ORVM, premium seat fabric, remote locking etc.

But, I tell you from my personal experience, I cant get power windows fitted into my UVA Base now.

The Dealers dont have it. I enquired outside (JC road), they say the kit for UVA is not yet available.

Not only that, I don't think, I can get ABS done in my car ever.

Another worry is voiding the warranty, I myself want the KnN filter on my car, but dont think its possible since the car is under warranty. I may need to pay through my nose and get this from the dealer himself so that the warranty remains. Warranty for UVA is 3 years

So, I thought...

here is the thing, my parents want a spacious car. swift is my personal favourite though. my parent's budget is around 4,40,000 (on road). I don't think i can get a swift vxi on road at 4,40 but as i said if they are giving discounts then it would fit my bill. i am not sure about palio's after sales service. i don't like the indica too, looks outdated to me.

Soumya: Recently my friend booked getz dont know which model but i belive it has the engine of santro. his budget was also around 4 lacs and he was very particular about the space. He did try all the above model and finally settled for this one. he bought it for about 4.4 i guess.

So why dont you try giving a visit to hyundau showroom and TD it?

good luck

You are referring to the Getz Prime 1.1.

the u-va looks much better than getz while u-va's fuel economy is on the lower side. i also think that the spares of u-va cost more than that of getz. but the u-va has a better engine than that of getz. i personally like the swift but it has lesser space than the u-va and getz. while the chevy spark is good, it also lacks that space. i want a car which has space, a decent engine and after sales service. we are a family of three. but sometimes my grandmother, relatives or my cousins will also get in. i know i need a truck to fit them all! so what's the best choice people?

@Soumya

You will have to compromise on some things and you cant get everything in a single package.
If you like Swift VXI then y dont u stretch your budget by 30K since this is ur 1st and last car in life time.
Car is a pure luxury and i think 30K +/- is not a deciding factor to reject a car. If u like Swift then go for it. When u r investing 4.4 lacs, 30K is not a big amount.

One point the guys have missed.

Since you are only learning to drive, Sure you can handle these cars? Swift/U-VA/Getz are all not exactly small cars (in terms of width)

And, as for the car, my preference would also be Swift>Getz/U-VA.
