Second Hand Palio 1.6 GTX

Hi All,
I need your advice. I came across a Palio GTX 1.6. Owner is asking 1.35 lacs (negotiable) for it.
Here are the details.
Make: Fiat
Model: 2002 Palio
Version: 1.6 GTX Petrol
Accessories: Power Steering, Power Windows, Alloy Wheels, All 4 New Tyres, Leather Seats,Kenwood MP3 player with Aux Input
Color : Sliver
Mileage: 64,000 KM
Took a test drive and i was really blown away. Awesome power, tank like build quality. (well they are palio's prerogatives).
There were couple of bends. Specific locations are
1. On the side skirt just below the front passenger door (not on the door).
2. On the left side on the bonnet, just in front of the front passender door (not a big dent just a small one)The owner is the second owner of the car.
Please help me as i am really interested in the car.
My issues are:
1. Is the car rightly priced? If no what should be the value? (The current owner is the second owner of the car)2. What kind of issue should i look out for?
3. Whether buying this car is a good decision?

Take the car to a good mechanic & take his assessment before you commit yourself. The price seems ok if the car is in good condition all round. Here are a few questions you can ask the owner.

1. Why is he selling the car ? (Judge whether his reason seems genuine)
2. When did he buy the car ?
3. What was the odo reading in the car when he bought it?
4. What are all the repairs that he has carried out during his custody of the car ?

put up these answers here for a discussion
cheers

The price seems to be good but make sure the car is in good condition.

Since it has done 60 k kms i presime that the suspensions might need work(about 20k) also check the Windscreen.

Take it to a good mech get the engine thoroughly checked.

good luck

I think the price is pretty ok, Most of the 1.6 I found in noida/delhi are around 1.5-1.7L range.

Do check this thread too - palio 1.6gtx vs palio-1.6 sport visible differences
