Folks

Here is the update....Picked up the Aveo base from Kun Hyderabad...on road price 6.4 lacs INR. The colour is icy blue. Also liked the ivory gold colour but the dealer mentioned a wait time of 4-6 weeks. I paid the advance on Monday and the car was delivered on wednesday.

Overall dealer response and service has been good. Took the car out and family/friends liked the legroom, ride quality and looks.

Problems till now...not too many. The reverse horn which was an accessory to be fitted was not fitted properly in the first go...It did not work. I will be going to the dealer tomorrow to get it fixed.

Also glove box space seems to be limited. It does not even take the black leather folder given by the dealer to store the car papers! .

Thanks to the community for all the help.

Regards
Amit

Hey! Congrats on your new car. Hope you have a great time with it! Btw, just my 2 cents, pls throw away the reverse horn. It is the most irritating accessory found till date!

I beg to differ on this. I have found no extra difficulty in parking bigger cars. Both cars have advantages but the reliability of both cars is not extraordinary.
