Is the Getz 1.3 model going to be stopped?

Hi
I am contemplating buying either the Getz 1.3 GLs and the Aveo U-VA 1.2 LT.
I was telling the Chevy sales person that the Hyundai guy is giving me good discount on the Getz while chevy is not giving any (or very less). At that time he mentioned that the Getz 1.3 models are being stopped and thats why they are giving heavy discounts.

Can you let me know if this is this true?
Is there any chance that the Getz 1.3 models could be phased out soon?

I was actually leaning towards Getz.
