2.5 lacs.
it being 2 door,it is going to be difficult to find buyers.
so why not grab the chance and start with as low as u can.start from 2.5lacs.

i think 2.6 lakhs is the maximum u must pay as the run is a lot for 1 year and in due 10k kms u have to be changing the tyres also and may be some other spare parts . the car was being given at an discount bcoz they couldnt find buyers and was sold at 4.3 lakhs on road bombay .

dude ...
for the same price why not look around for a palio 1.6 GTX, siena 1.6....
in bombay ive only seen 3-4 of these cars that too only 1 steel ....
cmon look hard and u can get an ikon 2001 model , corsa royale 01 - 02 ....
there are better cars for the same price ....
the zens a good impulse buy but it will be inconvinient in the long run ..
trust us ...
we know are work

Well Aadix I dont think that is exactly true, as i was shopping for a car around that point in time (Mid to end 2003) I remember seeing a few ads in DC and other newspapers where Acer was offering Free Insurance + Lifetax + some goodies ( that would make the cost close to 4 lp on road) for the carbon and steel version of the zen

I guess 3.3 for a car with 30K on the odo is a bit steep and I think the right price is around 2.6 to 2.8 for the 2 door

Do let us know what ever happens!!

For 3.3 I think you can easily get a pre face lifted version of the Old Honda City !! or for around 3 you can easily get a palio 1.6 GTX ( if you can spot one)

hi dohc
that offer was only on the steel, not on carbon, all the carbons were booked within first week of bookings opening...i was very keen on the carbon that time...so was following it up closely...
showed dad a gtx too...he said "no fiat,no ford,no honda"........so that leaves me with hyundai and maruti....lets see what happenes
btw this carbon is with classic cars, banjara hills, the gtx, with anmol cars on minister road
this car is just gonna be used by me and my sis,so thinking, gave an offer to him today, lets see what he tells....

I say try to get the Carbon cheap, if not possible get another Zen for a lot cheaper and get it up a excellent condition. The Zen is a much more sensible proposition than high-mileage C-segemtn cars because it's running costs are much lower and it's mileage is better.
