Getz 1.1. all the way. Palio 1.1 is underpowered and there are still A.S.S. issues .

Palio might have an advantage as far as spare parts prices are concerned, and is cheaper of the two. Also, it looks much better (IMO) than a Getz. But does that make it a better car than the Getz 1.1? Certainly not.
The Palio 1.1 is pretty underpowered and will make life stressful for its driver. The Getz 1.1, on the other hand is a sweet drive and is surprisingly peppy for an engine of that size and capacity. The downside is that Getz 1.1 has a pathetic air conditioning system. Also, the quality of the plastics on the newer Getz is as good / bad as the Palio.
I voted for the Getz 1.1, because it justifies the higher price over the Palio 1.1 and is a much better overall car .

palio has good car/engine. cheaper too. surely in 4-5 years of ownership, unless you get a lemon, it wont take that much costs. its a nice car. atleast the 1.2 didnt give my relatives lotsa troubles.

I own a Getz PRIME 1.1. While buying I had taken into consideration the Palio also. The build quality is excellent compared to Getz, but the main thing which made me drop the idea was sluggish drive. Even I was ready to compromise on the A.S.S.

I dont think so.... I felt the air-conditioner to be quite OK even on blower speed 1.

I would say the Palio.
It may not be as spacious as the Getz, but the car is definitely much more fun to drive, and i think it is more driveable in city traffic as well. Also, it is more comfortable than the Getz and way cheaper as well.

Getz 1.1 is a good city car. Adequate power for city driving, very spacious, good ride, build quality and adequate handling. I love the good old Palio. Have not driven Palio 1.1, felt the quality is not as good as old one while inspecting the display vehicle. The reviews say it is underpowered compared to Palio 1.2.
I would go for Getz as the A.S.S and resale value of Hyundai is better.

I have not driven the New Palio but I think it looks cool.

I hope the engine is cool.

It is not much in demand so you may get a discount on it.

Getz 1.1 as it will give you a better resale. Also other things like After Sales gives you an edge with Hyundai.

Palio Stile otherwise is a damn good car.

Then as I said, an even toss. Prudence would say Getz, but the TD will be better way to go about it. He may fall in love with the Stile.

Just to add some weight towards Stile, I'd say Stile 1.1.

Kiddings apart, i would choose a Getz any day as its more VFM
