Getz 1.1 vs Stile 1.1 - which one?

With discounts Getz 1.3 might be attractive. I would recommend it as it has decent power and the FE difference is not much from the reviews I have read.

One thing that sucks big time is the Tata A.S.S. I dont have experience with Hyundai, but I hope it is better.

For tata cars (we have a Safari) the experience isn't great, but is just about tolerable! For fiat (we have a Palio 1.2 in the family too), its bad. I am hoping they would learn with times and the expertise and experience would improve...

Before everyone pounces on me, let me put forth some snippets of my experience:
- We had to wait for atleast a couple of weeks to get the spare when the combination switch (used for the indicators, wipers etc.) stopped working.
- When you have small issues like dashboard rattle (yeah! contrary to popular belief, a palio can rattle), the service advisor at the Tata workshop wouldn't understand what you are talking about.

I can mention a couple more, but I guess you get the drift..

BTW, what is the price difference between the two contenders??

I have voted for Stile as it looks much better than Getz.
I also think that its build quality, gearshift etc are better that most other cars.

The gear shift in Getz is butter smooth. I love it.

I agree with the build quality, but how come the gear shift? Its one of the cons of Stile.

What is wrong with Stile's Gearshift?

I find it smooth & best in its class.

No brainer this one.....

Its has to Getz 1.1 .

Palio is just no match to this premium hatch Getz.
Both belongs to different classes. So really an unfair comparision.

Yes, chennai tbhp-ian 'bottle' has also not been able to get Tata A.S.S. to resolve the rattles on his Stile1.6 (and its not just the dashboard, but all over the car).

Quality has come down for sure in the Stile versions.

Last sunday, checked out a Palio D in Maruti true value (yes, Maruti!). Went to the car after checking out the baleno, but even then was impressed with the build! Can't say the same with the Stile!

getz 1.1 hands down.......

palio 1.1 is pathetic ,both on city roads and on highways, dosent have urge, have to play lot with gear box to get it to move properly.....
whreas getz 1.1 being a big car with only 68bhp, dosent feel like one, its pretty nippy comparitively.

Here in Trivandrum total discount is 42000/-.Engine is really cool,but 1.1 is under powered.

Hey Roms !!

Don't you think Getz is B+ car ? If you don't then I am surprised man.

I am not saying this Just because I own CRDi Getz, its a very honest/holistic view.

To me, Palio1.1 belongs to the batch where you have Santros,WagonRs,Sparks.

Yes dear, I really really enjoying Getz CRDi which is no doubt a Premium Hatch like my other fav Grande Punto.....

Just becoz Getz is sold at a Premium price, it doesn't qualify to be Premium hatch!
