Getz 1.1 vs Stile 1.1 - which one?

A friend needs to choose between these 2. Which one do you guys think would be the better buy. I feel he should go for the Getz....but can anyone justify choosing the Stile instead?

Where does your friend stay? If it is Mumbai or Pune or Bangalore, I would have said even toss between the two. Otherwise, it might be more prudent to go for the Getz. Not voted.

If your friend is not that keen on comparing specs, and analyzing the data, he would only be using it as a means of commute from point A to point B. IMO, he would decide based on what he likes - points like looks, & brand - both of which are subjective.

Beyond that, you can walk him through the pro's & cons of each. You prefer he gets the Getz. If the poll shows Stile, will you change your liking from Getz to Stile ? Or will your friend trust the rest of the respondents here over his friend who knows him better ?

I think it might be possible to squeeze in a Stile 1.6 for a little bit more than the price of the Getz 1.1. Does that turn the tables?

Firstly, i don't have a liking for the Getz but atleast from the spec sheet and what i've heard from the owners, it seems to be the better option here. And if the poll does show that the Stile makes more sense to buy, then it's upto him to decide.

Infact he's at the Hyundai dealership test driving the car right now. Lets see what he has to say after he's driven both cars.

Go for the Getz. My brother too owns a Getz and he is not complaining. The best thing I like about it is the butter smooth gear shift.

My vote goes for Getz 1.1.

I hated Getz 1.1 after i saw the spec sheets. But, driving it was a different story. The motor pulls very strongly from low rpms, and is fun to drive although top-end power is nothing to write about.

That would make it a good car for the city.

Ask your friend to test drive both the Cars and then decide which one.

Fiat-Tata Service in B'lore is pretty decent with 4 ASC to choose from.
