Why is the Tata Indica Turbo diesel not included in this poll? It's also the only car among these three to offer ABS and twin airbags.

Cars here are not listed if they have ABS/Airbags but if they have CRDi tech.

Also Getz D doesnot have ABS/Airbags and Swift D & Fusion both dont offer airbags.

I guess this discussion will get more interesting next month with the Fabia joining in. But for now - I would go with the Fusion - Swift and the Getz - in that order.

I dont think Fabia D would be worth a buy at 8.5 lacs on road as discussed in the other thread.

my vote goes like this
1. getz crdi for performance and space
2. ford fusion for space and engine refinement and offcourse it needs petes
3. swift d is a good diesel car with revvy engine but lacks space and rattles

after considering the various features and the price, my vote goes to swift given my requirement from the car is mainly for
1) city drives + occasional highway drives
2) almost lack of utility for rear seat - so am not bothered about lack of space
3) decent boot space which is sufficient for a family of 3
4) amazing pulling power which can give some petrol cars a few segments up run for their money...
5) great looker despite being so commonplace..

I recently tried the Getz after driving a couple of Swift's belonging to friends & trust me, the frankly funny performance (if you get my drift!) and the better build quality puts it head & shoulders above the Swift!

My vote would go to the Getz. Especially if it's one with Pete's & no CRDi badging.

P.S. The excessive price is the only drawback with the car.
