Palio SDX

Hi.

I took a test drive of a Palio MultiJet SDX last week and am planning to buy it. It seems like the kind of car that might be eye-catching and would provide excellent performance.

Please elaborate on the following points:
1) Performance and handling compared to Swift VDi
2) Quality of Service in Pune
3) Personal experiences with Pune dealers/service centers
4) Accessories to be added (minus ICE tht I will get from the states)...e.g brand of sum-film, security system etc...
5) Any concerns about the car/A.S.S in general...

Cheers,
Praful.

Standard hai. But kiss resale goodbye.

Otherwise boring interiors aside, a well put together car.

Both has same engine, however, Palio is tuned for more FE and together with the tall gearing gives the Swift an advantage of almost 2 secs in 0-100 timings.
Handling of Palio cannot be questioned, although swift is an exceptional handler. Ride quality of Palio is much better than Swift, IMO.

The replacement for the Palio is rumoured to come out in 2009. So, the already down resale value, and parts availability could be hit further.

Fiat Service in Pune is pretty good, BU Bhandari is doing a good job there.
