Hey man,
Congrats.
I forgot to mention that since they are now stopping the zen Di, the resale value will drop.

Congrats on changing your mind to the Indigo Marina.. I am glad to be of help.. I was about to buy a zen-d myself, but one test-drive and a look under the bonnet made me change my mind..

My $0.02c don't buy any accessory from the dealer, they will be much more expensive from the market price. Get as much of cash discounts as you can. With the launch of the Innova, i am sure Tata dealerships will be giving a lot of discounts to keep the sales volumes intact. Besides they will be phasing out the current models to move to the E-III standards later this year..

You could get free insurance if you are financing from the dealer. Or shop around for other financing options.. Try to get the finance from car insurance agencies, you might end up getting free insurance.. e.g. ICICI Bank, TATA AIG, etc..

All the best..

Guys,
I am Sorry to inform all of you, I am going for a M800(Family decision). Planning for Innova after one year. My family is very new to 4 wheeler and they liked M800 (since its proven). Budget is less and we can try with this vehicle for one year and get used to all types of roads.
May be I am going to fit a LPG kit for this NEW Vehicle.
M800 AC E3 for 2.83 lakhs RED. Insurance free.

I know, I have disappointed all of you. Sorry guys.

Hey all the best with your new car. The 800 is a decent and practical car. Come to grips with the roads and then go buy the Innova. Makes sense. Actually why did you not consider a second hand Esteem or Wagon R?

My parents looked for Second hand car, and everyone quoting high prices. Can't wait long.
So, took decision in this way.

And may I get suggestions on LPG Kit? Which brand is good and any illegal things in that? and need any registration with RTO if I use LPG?
And is it good to have Cylineder or Gas Tank?

What I got info till now is:
Gas Kit alone: 22K(Lavato)
Gas Tank (40lts): 11.5K
One year warranty.

And is it good to have LPG right now for this new vehicle or shall I fit it after 6months (once checked how it performs with Petrol)?

Thanks for understanding and supporting my Parents decision.

hey dev,

since you have decided on the 800cc car,why dont you look at the alto lxi.with the same 800cc engine but with 16V mpfi instead of the 8v mpfi M800.
its more solidly built and is more safe than the alto.its a more modern car and wil cost only about 20-30k more than the M800,so pleaes tell your parents to have a loom at it also.

also its the best entry level car.

I'll buy the first gypsy with the TUD5, couldn't get better than that.. The present petrol gypsy has very poor F.E. I bet the Diesel Gypsy would be a hit.. Heard a few people fitting the Toyota 1.N Turbo diesel in the gypsy and getting good returns on the vehicle.. If you know anybody willing to sell that.. I'll gladly buy the machine..

Coming back to dev, Congrats for taking a good decision. My advice don't fit in the gas kit. Run on petrol.. Gas is not good for stop and go traffic in bangalore and will hurt your engine in the long run.. Atleast don't fit in the gas-kit till the first 5000 km.. until your engine settles properly..

For long drives hire a Sumo/Qualis..

Cheers,
Manish.

Ok Dev, after a long discussion you got your car and happy with it.
I don't see this thread getting any other input (as Vulken Auto said) from anybody any more.
