She told me, will order a vehicle from Chennai and was i willing to wait?

I said, absolutely!!!

I warned her that i will take the delivery only after inspecting in detail the manafactured date, date mentioned on tyres and also insisted that i wanted my car to be fitted with Bridgestone instead of MRF ( some lots come with Bridgestone and some with MRF).

To add some weight to my warning, i said i will distribute this information that you were trying to pass me off a used vehicle across my company and to everyone i know which will bring dis-repute to your dealership.

I guess that should be enough to scare her off and deliver an immaculate vehicle.

Thanks a bunch to all the guys who contributed and it goes without saying, TBHP ROCKS!!!
Its good to hear that you didn't have much strain to replace the july manufactured one...

I need a favour as I am also about to book a i10 kappa (magna).

What is your variant and how much it costs you?
What was the deal/offer?

Even though its a year end, i hope we couldn't get much offer from i10 1.2.

Can we insist the car to be fitted with a specific tyre brand during the booking time ? I've doubts regarding that....

mobike, if the showroom offers you a generous discount on the july manufactured car, then you ought to consider it... the date only reflects in the RC, and causes resale value to slip down marginally... otherwise there should be no problem in that model.

It depends on the dealership, some are ready to change tyres while others arent that cooperative. But you can definitely ask.

For i10, HMP told me that it is not possible to change the tyres. Whatever the tyre fitted by company will be the final.

I need to check with other dealers.
