GURUJI i'm getting my i10 magna a/t on Saturday and as per your earlier posts on i10, you have suggested 175/70 R13 & 5.0J x 13 Alloy Rims. so should i stick with that? I want to get it changed immediately so that i get best buyback price for the stock tyres. Please suggest.

@ anilkalvani: Yes, this is the correct & best upsize for i10 in 13" wheels. Tejas has opted for 14" wheels & 185/60R14.

Buyback price for tyres also depends what brand you get as stock tyres. e.g. MRF tyres will not get as much value as Bridgestone. Changing tyres on day 1 also helps but brand of the tyre also matters for buyback price.

I've always owned black or red cars. Don't mind the maintenance. already have a red OHC, so bought the black i10.

I got 1800 bucks as buy-back as i already mentioned (for the tyre, rim and wheel cap).

Bought the stuff from Pal tyres at lamington road. He's got killer designs.

Have driven the car for approx 30 odd kms after tyres were fitted, no change in steering heaviness and neither was change in ride quality noticed.

EDIT: Noticeable difference seen in handling and braking. The car behaves less like a boat in rough waters now.

Agree. Beige interiors => Black exterior IMO.

Good news. The OEM skinnies were no good. I drive an M/T on the highway regularly, scares the hell outta me.

Nice choice! Waiting for the review, no scraping I hope?

And no need to thank me, I'm always here!

If FE is not an issue, get the 185/60 R14's or stick to 175/70 R13. Changes the stance of the car significantly.

Good good, i can refer to this thread when it comes to Alloys and Tires for our i10 Tejas, post photos of your new ride with new boots.

Ishaan, does 185 scrape the wells under full lock? Would you recommend a 15incher for the i10, if so which size?

I tried with 15". No scraping but the ride gets very bumpy. And you will need a 195/50/15 profile. Stick with 14.
Will post photos soon.

Thought as much. 15" sounds too big for the i10. Seen many alloyed+upsized-to-14" i10 and they look sweet.
