Yup, ABS and Airbags apart from the Integrated Stereo and controls mounted on the Steering wheel. All these features are exclusive to swift ZXI. Last but not least are the alloys too.

Integrated stereo and steering mounted audio controls were not available in the 2006-07 Swift ZXi's. ABS, airbags and climate control were. I think integrated audio and steering mounted audio controls started coming in the Swift ZXi after mid-2008.

Yup, my bad. The intregrated Audio and its controls came as a part of the refreshed Swift in 2008.

Here are some pictures finally. :D

@mclaren1885

Plans are underway to make a TOTALLY RELIABLE daily use car. The list of upgrades shall be decided in the coming week or so. No Turbo just yet, just some engine internals & a short ratio Swift GTi gearbox & some other little stuff. :D Any ideas or pointers ??

Cheers

My sincere suggestion would be not to go the high compression route. You will face a lot of issues, mostly unforeseen. If you can list out all the mods you intend to do, members will be able to shed more light. The GT gearbox is quite FTD. Make sure you get a better clutch to begin with.

Hey congrats on the new car.

So....When are you Turboing it.Lol

Kidding.I know you're not gonna touch this car after the horrible experience in the indian TOONING scene.hehe.

The car has done just under 30k, so do not intend to open the engine just yet. Things that are being contemplated are :-
# Cam
# ECU
# Maybe individual throttle bodies
# FFE
# Custom gearbox
# Upgrade Clutch
# Rims & Tyres

@Navpreet

Spot on Buddy, No turbo yet :D

Cheers

# Cam - The G13 doesn't have a strong low end. So, think twice about this.
# ECU - Yes, do it.
# Maybe individual throttle bodies - Not tried and tested.
# FFE - Of course
# Custom gearbox - What do u feel about your current ratios?
# Upgrade Clutch - Oh yeah!
# Rims & Tyres

First of all buy a UNI filter and see the difference.I have heard and will soon test in on my Civic that its supposed to be very much better than other filters and that the engine revs more freely.

Also if you plan to get things done from down south then there are tuners who have blown and learnt from hundreds of g13 engines and now their turbo kits are virtually donkey proof.

So now you can actually think about the turbo.
Also whatever you might be thinking of getting done, get it from people who have tested their skills on other cars and are not using your car as a learning/proving ground.

There are so many of them here on this forum itself.

All the best on your quest to making this car faster.

congratulations on your buy... hopefully if all goes well your swift should be 'tooned' into something nice to drive (read usable). just picked up your wheels, tires hopefully tomm.

Cam - Don't go overboard on the cam duration. See to it that you invest in a cam that you can use later on if you go FI.

ECU - A must for any modded car. Talk to RDK.

ITB - Stay away from it.

FFE - Get it tuned properly, preferably mid-range to top end.

Gearbox - Again preferably retain short ratios for 1st and 2nd. Retain the FD of the stock swift for better FE.

Clutch - A must, if you want to transfer down good power.

For the time being, avoid opening the engine. My sincere suggestion would be, plan up for going turbo at some point or the other.

Small update :

Hijoin HR 252 15" alloys & Bridgestone Potenza G III's 205/55/15 have gone on the car today. :D

Needless to say the grip & handling is much better now & the looks have "transformed" to say the least.

Congrats Ricky! How about some pics ? And why not the S-Drives instead of G3 ?
