Spares are readily available or least on order with the dealers or via other sources, like Kava auto in mumbai.

Makesh, I do a lot of highway driving. It is quite dangerous to be out there. Trucks/Tractors coming in the wrong way, cyclist/bikes appering out of nowhere and all. So if I am to get a vehicle for the highway, my top priority will be a safety and built(solid feeling car). I think Palio with all the safety featues like ABS,EBD Airbags would be better for the highway in your budget. Afterall your safety is most important.

Just my 2 cents.Safe Motoring.

Digging old thread as being newbie i can not PM.
Makesh can you please give me contact number or address of mechanic Mr. Patil, as i am thinking of getting used Palio. As someone said one should find good mechanic first before buying Palio. This shall be my first vehicle.
