What to get in 3.5L (strict on road budget)

My cousin sister is looking to buy a car for herself.
Budget is 3.5 L On-road (Delhi).

Would like to know what all fits in here. Power steering and AC are a must.

Santro ?
Estilo ?
Spark ?

I know the new WR would be costly because of no discounts, so not considering it.

Spark is your best bet, in terms of maintenance and drivability.

Cheers,
Rajesh

My vote is for Santro.

Reason - I like it better than the other two.

I would also vote for Santro - hassle free, dependable, roomy, cheap to maintain, etc... based on personal experience.

3.5L On-Road = Spark LS, I know for sure that there are discounts going on on Spark which will make it meet your budget requirements. The only other car in that budget (A/C+Power Steering) is Alto!

For reference, Ex-Show. prices in Delhi.
MARUTI ESTILO LX 320201.45 (No power steering)
Santro GL (Solid) 340301.00 (No body coloured bumpers)
Spark 1.0 LS 348545.00 (3-year maintenance plan)

I haven't heard any discounts on the other 2. IMO Spark is the best bet @ 3.5Lacs.

Yes, Spark LS with 3 year (100K KM) free maint. package is the best bet.

Santro - Totally based on my hassle-free and enjoyable ownership experience.

Your cousin sister would prefer easy access to service centers. You can bet you can get this surely in case of Hyundai.

Totally agree! Spark is a good car for that budget which has the best interior in that budget. The maintenance plan makes it an even sweeter deal

Why not Figo? It offers more space and handling and ride comfort are better. Give this a thought.

Spark without doubt. Miles ahead of the Alto, free service will bring down your TCO, and this month they are offering some gold coins as well!

Santro has better brand image and drive-ability going for it. The final decision should be taken after a test drive to weigh in individual preferences.

I was about to ask the same question on Team-Bhp in a day or two as my Brother is also looking for somthing strictly in 3.5 Lacs On Road.

Out the 3 choices my vote goes for Santro as it is the best among its class, Tried, Tested and liked by millions.
Spark - I do not like GM Stuff as most of it they are selling is the left over scrap which they bought from Daewoo.
Estillo - I personally to not like these cars for various reasons one of them is its looks.

Also I would like you to check for FORD FIGO , its lowest Model "Exi" is 3.38 Lacs (approx) Ex Showroom Delhi. It will altogether take you to a different with segment. For On road price you may have to stretch very little.

No way GM is selling left over scrap. Brand Daewoo is still alive in Korea. Spark, UVA, Aveo, Optra, were all 'latest/running' models/generation when launched here in India, where as Estilo was retired MR-Wagon from Japan!! Ford Figo, no doubt is a VFM car and has lots of +ve's over similarly priced cars, is a reworked Ford Fiesta of the west!!

Spark is absolutely the best bang for buck. Unless Santro (dated but still a very ergonomic car esp for women) is an option.

I'd say PS + painted bumpers + aftermarket PWs + accessories < LS
