Re: Renault @ Auto Expo 2020

The Twizzy was available for test drives outside the Expo hall and we got a spin around each. Was fun to drive but we couldn't cross 40Km/hr. No power steering and power brakes meant we needed more time to adjust to the steering and braking. It's stiffly sprung and you feel the cobbles properly:

A look at the seats. Yes this is a 2 seater and there's a small seat behind the driver:

Interiors are basic and functional. Nothing fancy here:

Basic dash with the drive controls on the left. It D, R and N. The N is selected by pressing both D and R together:

It's a 2 seater and just like a bike the rear passenger legs are on both sides of driver. Which means the driver is effectively sitting on a seat in between the legs of passenger. As you can see in this pic, moderator Khan_sultan is not at his happiest here:

He got his revenge a little later....:

And so did Eddy....

This is how the passenger has to sit:

Disclaimer: No moderators were harmed during this short test drive.

Did they say anything about launching it in India?.. or was this just some kind of showcase.
I imagine from safety aspect parents of college crowd would be pleased with such a car over a 2-wheeler... if priced correctly.
