Also, have observed that the service staff at HP petrol pumps are generally more courteous than at others - IndianOil staff being the worst of the lot.
I really cant figure out the exact reason but I buy fuel from ClubHP petrol pumps only.

One reason is that they seem to be "the most ready to serve the customer" people with nice language also.

Secondly I personally like the color combinations[red and Blue] used at HP same as of PIzza Hut which also I like.

Thirdly My ICICI Credit Card gives me sufficient credit points for the fuel I buy at ClubHP.

Also they clean the front Windscreen [on me requesting at some occassions though]

They sell TurboJet which my Indica loves for FE.. and Power for my Esteem..

I live in Gurgaon, ClubHP is there just besides 32nd Milestone and at IFFCO chowk very near to me while moving out to any side..

Though Fuel in delhi is a bit cheaper so I have options for ClubHP at the Radisson and one at the Dhaulan Kuan on NH-8 going towards Gurgaon.

I believe most of the same is also provided by Shell petrol bunks, dont know of there is one close to your office or home though.

Service is excellent at the shell bunks, and they also clean the windscreen for you. one thing that baffled me was why they ask us to get off the bike when filling fuel in a 2 wheeler. They quote safety reasons and company policy, but it never did make sense to me.

Bad experience with Shell Chennai

I was very pleased with the service Shell offered me till last month, when I faced this bad experience.

I asked to service guy to fill the tank, he in turn asked me whether I'll be paying in cash or card. I said (as I usually do) Card. He wanted to charge my card first before filling. This surprised me, and I wondered how can he make a charge without knowing the quantity of the fuel, that my tank is going to accept. He suggested that instead of filling the tank, I can go for 30 liters on adhoc basis.

This was very unusual at Shell and I said good bye to Shell, and have turned to my other preferred BP filling station (Speed).

I have always got atleast 5% improved economy when I filled petrol from HP filling station ( company owned ) on whitefield road, Mahadevapura.

Now I've got a diesel car and 'am in a different loaction. Nevertheless, HP filling station , Jayanagar 9th block, near woody's is a very good one for turbojet.

Tried xtramile from Banashankari bus stand once, it's no patch on turbojet.

@goldsun

Make sure you step out of the luxuries of ur car when they are filling up. That way, the chances of you being tricked are minimal. After filling, then swipe ur card. Dont bother a damn about the queue of vehicles behind you, if any, till everything is over. One such incident shudnt make u lose ur faith in a brand.

@benbsb29,

Thanks for the inputs. I wish that it should be a one-off incident. I will get back to Shell again on my next fill and hope for the best service back again.

From MG Road I have heard Silver Jubilee pump is good. Its an IOC pump serving only normal unleaded petrol no Xtra Premium available there.
