Porsche India's *direct* dealers & pricing structure announced

Related Threads:

With the appointment of six dealers across the country and finalization of prices, the Porsche model range is now available *directly* from VW Group Sales India Pvt Ltd.

Porsche India’s *direct* retail operations have commenced with six dealers in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Mumbai. All dealers have started accepting vehicle orders and will start delivering first units to customers soon. Service requests are handled from temporary facilities at all six dealerships until the new Porsche Centres will be opened.

Anil Reddi, Director at Porsche India, says: “With the appointment of six dealers in less than four months, I am pleased to say that this has been one of the fastest business ramp ups in the luxury automotive sector. We have more planned for this year.”

All new dealerships will feature fully-equipped service facilities. Porsche India has also set up an in-house team of specifically trained and mobile technicians who will go out to support after-sales colleagues and meet with customers.

As part of the brand’s re-launch, Porsche India announced a new pricing structure for the entire model range starting at Rs 61.4 lakh ex-showroom Maharashtra for the Cayenne. The diesel-engined Cayenne starts at Rs 68.3 lakh while the retail price of the Panamera Diesel is Rs 99.0 lakh ex-showroom Maharashtra.

The 911 is priced at Rs 1.12 Crore while the mid-engined Boxster S sells for Rs 80.24 lakh. The 911 and Boxster are all-new models, deliveries of which will commence shortly in India.

re: Porsche India's *direct* dealers & pricing structure announced

Seems like Porsche is tucking up it's sleeves for it's Indian innings. For how long could they have ignored this country where luxury sector is growing at a very fast rate. Porsche is already an iconic brand in India and ramping up their dealer network would surely be boon for their existing customers and a peace of mind to owners. VW are surely taking the volatile Indian market seriously and are bringing their premium brand to India. I wish Porsche all the best in India and hope it doesn't meet the same fate as Skoda and to some extent, VW and Audi. My few cents to them:-

- Ramp up the dealer network. It is of paramount importance in establishing a strong foothold beside Brand Value.
- Train mechanics so as they could handle various problems in these premium luxury cars.
- Dealers must be soft-spoken, respectful and courteous to customers.
- Provide plenty of options in their vehicles considering the fact that Indians are seriously VFM Conscious.

I again wish Porsche India all the best in their Indian conquest.

Keep revvin'

Saw the advert in today's Bombay Times on page no 3 which says that the new Porsche Centre is now open in Mumbai.

Any idea where is it? They have given only the phone no and email id of Aadya motors but no address.

Great start for porsche. I hope they get precision cars to get rid of the porsche styled showroom so that it doesn't mislead potential customers and that they get a website!!

Last time I drove by, the ex-Porsche showroom still wore the Porsche name and had at least 1 Porsche parked inside. It looked deceptively like an active retail outlet of the brand.

What's the exact address of the Gurgaon Porsche showroom?
How is the cayenne ? From what I've heard, it's like a bareshell where one has to customize their car from point 1. How true is it?
Also I've heard that to get your Porsche serviced, you need the send the car down south. (Chennai?)
Thanks.
