Only Volkswagen dealer in Goa shuts down?

So just as you are recovering from the shock of 2 Nissan Dealerships shutting down, here's another one. This time in Goa and this time Volkswagen.

To save you the trouble of clicking on the link, I'm copying and pasting the entire airtcle.

This was the only VW dealership in Goa. Now all VW owners are in a fix. Just imagine having to drive down to Pune or Mangalore for a routine service. The dealership was not one of the best when it came to service. In fact Skoda was much better. My brother owns a Polo and a Yeti and I own a Rapid. The feedback was based on brothers experience in both the dealerships.

AFAIK they have shifted to new premises at Verna which is located at the centre of Goa and almost all the manufacturers have their showroom and service centre.
The showroom which is closed down is a km from my home and as I pass through this showroom frequently, remember well that there is a board mentioning that they have shifted to Verna.
Can't imagine 0.01% that VW shutting shop in Goa.

Sales has moved into the basement of the service centre in Verna, rent issues is what seems to be the cause of this shutdown. Unfortunately all the sales guys have been let go & Sales is being handled by the service advisors.

There were some rumors that the new showroom is being set up by another dealer. Any confirmation of this?
And yes Verna is becoming a hot destination for car dealerships. We already have:
1. Hyundai
2. Toyota
3. Ford
4. BMW
5. Honda
6. Mahindra
7. Nissan
8. Renault (Service Only)
9. Audi (Service Only)
10. Maruti (Sai Sevice)

Besides this there is also a Maruti (Sai Service) stockyard, JCB dealership, the now shut down Ducati showroom, San Motors Plant. The neighboring village of Nuvem is the home to Dealerships of Tata, Suzuki (2 Wheelers) & Honda (2 wheelers).

Yes it confirmed, Mohite are moving out. Selling remaining stock, (Test drive cars going cheap) not taking any new bookings, apparently they will service till the new dealer takes over. Reason given, VW not supporting dealer & parts taking time to come.
