greentracks has gone from ok to bad and now bad to worse...

beware of one babu in that service center...a cunning person.

If you have one problem with car he can turn that into many to loot you and give you a fat bill.

and service has also become really pathetic...

Babu is no more with Green tracks. Hariprasad Shetty has joined Green tracks!

I went to green track 2 weeks back in my cousin's Palio. The Service Manage, Hariprasad said that they are regularly getting parts from FIAT India (once in 3 days). He also showed a GTX which was kept for servicing 3 days back and part had already arrived in "BLUE DART" courier.

Also a fender for a Palio arrived in a Big well packed FIAT box when i was in there.

He also advised that 150 regularly used / fast moving spares have been identified for FIAT vehicles and they are in stock always.

Also, he advised that he has made all arrangements for the summer with all AC related parts/ spares ready! For upcoming rainy season, he has already procured 48 set of vipers.

Had some issues with wheels, these people did quick inspection of whole car. Fixed some niggles here and there. Whiel they serviced the car, I went around garage happily watching all age old beauties (all kind of Palios). Saw team bhp sticker also inside.

I take back all recommendations for Green Track.

I had a very very very bad experience.

1. The service adviser was very very arrogant and does not know how to deal with a customer. In fact, he misbehaved with me.

2. He said that he cannot diagnose a suspension problem by driving a vehicle. He also said that if the suspension is bad, it would not necessarily make any noise if driven hard over bad roads.

3. The way he test drives the vehicle, I would never appoint somebody driving like him as a driver.

4. They changed the power steering hose. They did not have the parts in stock and don't care if you are in a hurry. I had to buy the parts to expedite the process.

5. They changed the power steering hose, but did not tighten the bolts properly. The next day morning, power steering oil was all over. Concorde fixed it Free of cost.

6. When took it with the SA, he said I should have checked it during test drive! He was also very arrogant and did not acept his mistake.

7. They could align the vehicle properly in the first time. Instead they said suspension might be a problem. They could align it properly second time.

8. The workshop manager is good. He apologized for the problem and did his part, but I would try not to go there.

9. They suggested replacement of sump gasket although it was not required.

10. They put a Green Track sticker at the back of my vehicle without my permission and did not remove it despite my request. While taking delivery, I forgot to check it, so the sticker is still there and looking very bad.

In short, did not have a good experience. I think they do not have experienced mechanics or service advisers there. The washing was good though.

That was a bad experience, time to blacklist this Service center!

Will be good if you can report your experience on the Tata motors customer care site: Tata Motors Customer Support :: Complaint

@sumannandy was nice meeting you there. I had only a couple of cosmetic jobs, and one to do with the power window not moving up properly. I distinctly got an impression that they were trying to pressurize my dad into replacing components. Insisted on a touchup job for the bumper and that worked nicely - and asked them to leave the window alone.

Probably not going back to Green Tracks. Alternatives ?
