I think you should write a detailed mail to Maruti with the link to this thread as well. We always try to find an alternative because we want peace of mind (not blaming here, but that's probably all of us want) but we should also try to do our bit to clean up the system. It's your prerogative to shoot a mail to Maruti but I suggest that be done and make the dealer struggle a bit for the mistake they have done.
