You are banging wrong door, friend!

If you really want to speak with dealer only, speak with their GM /MD and no lesser entities. Just make sure that you tell your friendly sales person that you wish to speak with GM/MD and he should provide the number (even if you have it) But, if you want to pinch them hard, contact MUL directly. One of these two will sure-fire work.

GUYS! Please lets stick to topic and not drag Fiat in every thread.

Busa, keep each and every instance of your complaint documented. It will help a lot.

Exactly!... salesman is nothing!... we shouldn't even be discussing what the salesman says/ means/ wants.

thats a really good suggestion...speak to the GM/MD of the dealer about ur issues and also say tht u expected much more better service from them....this will most probably solve the problem....
in my case the authorised maruti dealer was supposed to deliver the vehicle on 3rd october 2006 .the car was needed to be delivered before 14th october as there was a family function.....but when we called the dealers to remind about the delivery on 8th october they said it wont be possible as no cars are being send from the company....then after presenting the issues to the top level executives and saying tht we will cancel our booking, they agreed to deliver the car on 13th.....
the result was the car was delivered on 12th october.....dealers even offered us a taxi to take us to the dealership

Thanks Horsepower ,
Yep , I went into the showroom and played it in front of the sales head , He just replied that the sales man had given me wrong information and was talking about the LDi , not swift VDi ... there is no change in status. I called in maruti helpline and reported this too , may be should go to the corporate office and let then know how i really feel towards them.

I am thiking of cancelling the booking and may be go in for Getz Crdi ( if its launched in March ) ..
let me know what else can i do ?

Interesting pre-sales experiences, i would say. A lot many people keep praising the sales and service of Maruti to the sky... tide is changing?

As for Busa, please do talk to the people at the higher level, and also call up the Maruti helpline once again. Cant make them keep holding you for ranson.

@Kool_Kid : threaten them by saying you would cancel your booking, and see how they react.

Thanx Manaa45 for her help.

Well Manaa45 spoke to a few insiders and MUL and they say that MUL has not installed the Kit in the VDi as of yet.

Also i guess i will be waiting for two months and hoping if the Getz CRDi or the Palio JTD is launched so i can cancel and buy either.

The unexpected demand for the Swift diesel has precipitated this situation. I don't think even MUL expected such a response even after pricing the Swift diesel at a stiff premium. And a Swift diesel with ABS? Must be a little of a shock for them.
