I actually don't use a particular FNG but rather a particular mechanic. He used to work at a reputed multi car garage that specialised in European cars. When I last called him a while back, he said he's moved to a better place. So I will be using that facility for my next service. He has looked after my car impeccably for a long time and has always been meticulous at his work and has always allowed me to work alongside him, teaching me everything about what he is doing. He's also been looking after my Skoda for years. It's good fun on a weekend. I'll contact you when I finally get back to Bangalore and you might like to come and check him out. We have quite similar taste in cars i have a skoda laura and a bmw here in Bangalore.

Can you share his contact information, Kammanahalli is near my place and it would be great to have an fng nearby.

Thanks for sharing this. My 10 yr old fabia needs care, trying to avoid Authorised centers. Id need water pump and timing belt replacement and a regular service. Do you think this can be managed by him? Also how about the parts used, original or oem. Do share his contact with me as well please.

In your post, you had mentioned about a particular mechanic taking good care of your car. I had an interaction with Mr Vinu from Sayara Motors, but he is one of the partners, so just wanted to confirm if he is the "mechanic" you are referring to OR if I am missing something here?

Ranjit is my man in there. Vinu is his boss and also good and fair at what he does. Ranjit has gone home, due to the shut down, and will be back soon. The shop is excellent.

I recently got my i10 serviced at Sayara Motors and quality of work is good. I actually wanted the work to happen in my presence but since I didn't have the mechanic details couldn't do so (Mr Vinu was not too keen on that)

So I am holding off on servicing my Skoda till I get in touch with Mr Ranjith.
