Are Mahindra dealerships selling customer data?

I filled details on NBS International that is 100 subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra for renewal of insurance.
Within 5 minutes i got a call for RSA for 15 years.

Apparently Kia or its dealers are leaking data too. This is kind of a weird one. I got a call today. The caller told me they are opening a new vacation resort and are conducting a launch in a nearby five-star hotel. He said they are inviting couples who own Kia Seltos specifically to the event. I declined his offer and he cut the call before I could ask him how he got my number.

The guy knew my name, what car I own and phone number. What else sensitive data are they leaking?
