Maruti Sai Service - very good Service

My Swift was purchased from Sai Service, Deccan, Pune some months
back. This weekend, my Rear Glass was shattered in Parking in Chembur,
Bombay. I needed to drive back to Pune Monday Morning & it would be
impossible to do so without the rear glass because of the rains.
So I called up Maruti Spectra Motors at Ghatkopar, they said they didn't
have the part in stock & because of the rains, they weren't 100% sure
of getting the part on the same day. Then called up another Maruti
Dealership Ratan Motors in Chembur, they said they have the part &
could do it on the same day itself, but said that their insurance guy
doesn't come on Saturday, so I would have to pay out of my own pocket
& *couldn't* claim it also later. So I called up Sai Service, Pune & they
put me through to their insurance dept (their dept does car insurance
through National & Oriental - they call it Maruti Insurance). The insurance
person said that every Maruti dealer should have an insurance surveyor
any day of the week they are open & he said that he would take up this
matter with Ratan Motors - he called up Ratan Motors but they weren't
obliging to him either. He called me back & asked me if I could take it
to one of the Sai Service locations in Bombay - i.e. Andheri or Lower Parel.
I agreed to go to Parel. He said he would take care of complaining to
Maruti about Ratan Motors. He then called up the Parel Sai Service &
got everything fixed up. I drove my car there & they fixed everything &
gave me the car back next morning(Sunday). All in all, Sai Service
customer service, is truly good, I think. Their service was good at the
time of booking & delivery, but I thought that was because I had gone
through a friend who knew the Deccan Sai Service Manager.

This time, it wasn't through anybody, but the service was still very good.

One of the main reasons, I had purchased a Maruti was because of what
I had heard about their service. I feel vindicated now.

I have a similar experience. I have taken my swift from Navneet. Their service sucks. I had some problem with the rear brakes on the 3 day after purchase. I took it to Parel Sai Service. I did not have any prior appointment and it was 6.15 in the evening.

The service advisor was friendly. He asked me for wait for 5 minutes and then sent a technitian to check the vehicle.

They rectified the problem in 1/2 hour and i was on my way.... Sai Service was very prompt and customer friendly.

Where as when I went to Navneet motors on Sunday for some noise from the rear. The Service Advisor was rude and did not even bother to listen to my problem.

Again took the car to Andheri sai service and they got it fixed in an hour.

Great job.....

Most of these guys are full of themselves. Especially Spectra Motors. Though I have had experience with only their Kandivli workshop, it was dissatisfying to say the least. Try Vitesse at Prabhadevi. Quite professional.

What I like about this thread is that you're talking something positive about the service experience. Usually people take the pain of writing a report, only when they have a negative experience and want the other person to also take a bit of the hit. So when I look at reviews on the net, one positive report is equal to 10 negative ones.

I've also had a positive experience with Mandovi motors, Bangalore. And my positive feedback has actually helped them to serve me better.

Why don't you complain to Sai Service(Head office) or Maruti with specific issues. Both of them seem to be pretty serious about Customer Service?

I complained to the Manager at Sai. But in vain. He was in no mood to entertain the customer. But I've decided not go there in my future and dissuade anyone.
