Six months back I had e-mailed to Maruti that waiting period for Swift was very long. Today they called to say that waiting period for Swift is substantially reduced. I asked for specific time frames (say for VDI with ABS). She could not tell specific time frames but insisted that waiting is substantially reduced because of production ramp-up. She also told that maruti may not now give interest on booking amount. She also confirmed that Swift will have minor face lift and upgrade in the interior
