Fiat needs to learn from Maruti about how to take care of their customers. Contacting their HO will be of no use simply because nobody responds to any complaint there.
Even if they did register your complaint they wouldn't dare do anything against the Dealer, since the name suggests that it belongs to a high profile politically linked family of Karnataka.
This gives me all the more reason to me to avoid buying a Fiat car, Linea or no Linea.

@Patchboy
I agree with the misfortunes that seem to have befallen out cars, when you say fender, do you mean the bumper? cause they charged me somethig like 7 grand for that.
They did pickup the car and was delivered today, the panel gaps are good now, they appear to have repainted the car, however, have not been able to check the exact color as it was dark will do that tomorrow.

Vinay,

No it is not the bumper. It is the metal panel between the bumper and the door, above the wheel on the side of the car. It is where the side turn indicator is located.

Cheers,
Rajan

Learn from Maruti? I hope not! And you think contacting Maruti's HO gets a response?

One thing positive I have learnt from this episode.

I am definitely going to go for Bajaj Allainz insurance and all their products.
After personally experiencing them later this year I am going to recommend them to others.

Bye and wear your seat belts.

Most definitely. Have you ever tried this? I did, and both times the response was lighting quick and helped to fix whatever issues I had.

I believe Maruti takes care of its customers like no other.

Sad to hear about the damage and shoddy work done by the A.S.S.

I had recently got my Stile 1.6 repaired. They replaced rear right door and repaired front right door, rear right quarter panel. The door costed me 10,856/- including taxes.

There were no issues in finishing, no gaps and paint was also matched properly (may be because its magnesium grey). Pictorial details are here http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-d...tml#post694615

I do not agree with people who say that escalating to Fiat HO does not work. I have always got response from them within a day or two and it really speeds up the process.

Hope this time they have fixed your car well

Yes I have tried contacting Maruti. TWICE. No response. I believe they give a rats a** to their customers and their problems.

Anyway, this is a Fiat thread. Let's not hijack it.
