Hi guys,

My friend (who is not a member here) has booked a Palio 1.3 Multijet SDX model on the 16th of March 2008. Initially he was told that the car would be delivered in about 20 days. On enquiring the manager on the 8th of April he now says he has no concrete information as to whether the car has been dispatched. He also says now that it might take one more month for to have the car delivered .

Kindly could someone provide the details of the Fiat Officials to enquire on the same.

Also has anybody got their Palio SDX delivered in Bangalore

Pls check out with Manipal & Concorde about thier delivery periods?
If they can deliver faster, cancel the booking at Prerna & book it here.

However what about the waiting perioed that has already happened , can we escalate this, or is it just that the dealer is fooling around.

You can go to Fiat-india.com there go to the feedback section and drop in a feedback .Somebody from fiat would contact you in a day or two.

Pls escalate the same, dealers should stop fooling around with customers!

Initially it was told that the car would be delivered in about 20 days. However upon enquiring on the 8th of April 2008, the manager at Prerana Motors Mr. Suresh mentions that he still has no concrete information as to when the car would be delivered and mentions that the waiting period might get extended to another month.



This instance has definitely dampened the spirits of owning the car.



However I request you to kindly look into this and provide us with an update as to whether the car has already been dispatched or atleast an expected date of dispatch of the car.

Nope my friend indeed cancelled the booking as he had some personal reasons for pushing the purchase date. But the manager at Prerana Motors gave him a call asking him if he is willing to go ahead with the purchase even after cancellation. But anyways he might purchase a Fiat again 4-5 months down the line.
