If the Landrover range is 35-80 then that means that a supercharged RR would be at 80? seems like a decent price drop from what is available here. I was expecting the prices to be lower.

The Freelander would be 35 lakhs showroom so add a few lakhs more to bring it on the road. The Discovery would be in the 50 lakh range. These are tentative priceings given by the magazine. What TATA come up with is to be seen.

I would not count on it brother. The RR sport base would start at 80 lakhs, which is even the price today from Navneet Motors. Generally it comes to 95 lakhs on road.

The surprise is that there going to be a Jaguar Mk VII on a display !!!!!
The car is owned by my father's boss Mr. Viraf Chiniwala, BMU 8008 !!!
The car is in a regular use & also a participant at VCCCI rally every year, this year also the car is there.
Around 3 days back, the Tata officials has taken the car to the showroom. It is to be repainted.
There are the pics of this car on tbhp in the following link -

I was just watching the news this morning. Seems like Jaguar Land Rover have finally opened shop. Saw some footage of the showroom with a black XF in the display.

Tata has officially launched Jaguar and Land Rover in India. The showroom is now open! There's a silver XF and a Range Rover on display. Some prices that were flashing on TV are:
Range Rover- Rs. 63L to 89L
Jaguar XKR- Rs.92L

Saw the showroom being cleaned up to full glory with all lights switched on. All the ranges were silver in colour while the jags were silver black and a maroon.
