Re: Worst Experience Ever - Concorde Motors Chennai

Sorry guys just went through my post.
Found some grammatical errors.Posted it with so much irritation and frustration and some sleep as well.

@SS-Traveller - The black spots are present all around the car. Even on the front windscreen.

@anachronix - Yup its the Ambattur branch. I stay in kilpauk, so ambattur is close by. They just screwed the car. The emotional love which i had for the car is no more present for me. Its like as though someone just rapped the car and i am not interested in it. VST Motors is also not so great. We had a Indica V2 some 4yrs ago. We sent the car to the service center instead of Engine Oil they poured water into it.They just spoiled the Engine of the car.

@Rahulkool - Looks like TATA -FIAT service centers are really bad. Any news on TAFE service center in Greams Road.

@RSR - Thanks for the advise mate. Even i feel the same about the car battery. Since car seems to be taking quite some time to start during the morning. My car has run 29000kms now as of date. Do you advise me to change the battery or give it for just a charge up.

@mayankjha1806 - Yup its pretty loaded on most days. Same day delivery affair is not present with the service center at all.

Concorde Motors dont seem to be taking the customer satisfaction thing into place at all. They just spoil the car to core.
I have left a complaint on fiat's customer care number. I am hoping they will call me back.

I am sorry for Tata , They can't keep up a simple repair and reputation. You should inform FIAT ( if it is possible on the type of service they are giving FIAT) and how this degrades the FIAT experience.

On the otherhand , Please do no send for service or Waterwash to that station again and choose VST . i used to send my Indicar to TVS multi service in Tambaram . they were much better.

Re: Worst Experience Ever - Concorde Motors Chennai

Feel sorry for the trouble you have put through shadyrulez.

I had a similar experience with my car at Concorde, Ambattur where they had dented and scratched the car when left for service. Since then when I leave my car for more than a day, I go visit the service center every morning and evening inspecting my car. I also take pictures of the car as they complete the job card and request signature in a sheet of paper with the damage noted down from the SA.

First, you need to find a good painter who can take care of the exterior. For mechanical and related problems, see if you can visit

RAM'S AUTOMOTIVE (Bosch Service)
12 Ambattur Industrial estate
Chennai- 600058- Ph 26257708
www.ramsautomotive.com

The service station is on the road just opposite to Concorde motor showroom at Ambattur Estate. This garage is run by Mr Parasuram who is the Co owner of Rams Racing team and they are national racing champs for 9 years. I am a member of PUG and there is a good word about this place from fellow members. Please do report back on your experience.

Re: Worst Experience Ever - Concorde Motors Chennai

Bad Luck shadyrulez. time to move to VST. if you need any help, Please PM me.
TATA A.S.S really sucks and everyone is feared to buy FIAT product because of this crappy service from all service centres.
VST is Ok kind of service and people are really helpful still they have to step up by 100% in service front.
I know almost all people in VST, so i've been getting a very good service (Royal Treatment in other words)
But i am here talking about normal joe visiting the service station.
Definitely he won't get proper service.
Being known to all, Everytime my car comes with some new scratches or dirt marks in seats. though they rectify it anytime, sometimes they came and fix in my home itself.
But i need it to be avoided in the first time itself.
Let's pray Almighty to get a good service for all our beloved cars.

Re: Customer Service @ Concorde Motors, Chennai

Guys took my car to the service center today got my car's interior and exterior cleaned for free 3M package done on it. Car looks really nice now.
The Black Paint was actually TAR from the Roofing repairs which is taking place at the service center. They have removed all the black marks.
Car looks nice again. My love for the Car is back.

@RSR - I changed the battery as you had suggested and the orange light vanished. Punto comes with Exide Battery 50Ah. Unfortunately the city's most exide dealers dint have stock of 50Ah exide battery. So went and got Amaron 45Ah with 4yrs warranty for Rs4900/-. I also was not keen on getting Exide again.

@Catalyst_delhi - I have called the FIAT customer care and informed about the quality of service I was given in the service center. I am expecting a Call from them within the next 72hrs.

@thenomad - I think i will goto RAMS automotive the next time. I am fed up of the service given to the car.

@aks_karthik - Thanks for the help mate.If i am going to the service center i will let you know.

Thanks all for the replies. The car feels really good after all the faults have been sorted. Felt really happy to drive without any troubles.

Re: Customer Service @ Concorde Motors, Chennai

shadyrulez, glad to know you had all issues with your car sorted out to your satisfaction. It's also good to hear that all those black spots have been removed and the car is back to being how it should be.

So I guess the immobiliser light staying on must indeed be an indication of a weak battery with all Multijet/DDiS engined cars, and probably the Quadrajet ones from Tata too.

In my case, the light came on and went off intermittently for about two weeks. After the advice from the friend, I took it to a battery specialist. The technician said the battery was almost at the end of its life, and could either last for another couple of weeks or could die out the same day. Not wanting to get stranded and also because the engine fired up only after some cranking, I got it changed immediately.

I guess it's a personal choice whether to change immediately or not, and most people would probably choose to change it as soon as possible as the danger of getting stranded is very real with a dying battery.

Enjoy your car and drive safe!

thenomad, thanks for suggesting Bosch Service @ Ram's Automotive. I'll probably give them a try as I don't want to take the car to Concorde or any other TASC again.

Re: Customer Service @ Concorde Motors, Chennai

I gave my car to Concorde at injambakkam for my 60K service, and though it cost a bomb (17K) - they actually did fix everything without screwing up anything else extra. When I took delivery, a lot of things were not working, but after i ate his head, the SA actually got a bunch of mechs and sorted everything out, and even threw in a fairly pricey part replacement FOC.
Usually at most TASC's by that time they say that its too late or they don't have the required parts in stock and ask you to come the next day. So full marks for commitment, expertise (which is honestly, all that matters) though their execution and delivery could use some improvement.
