How good is Sireesh Auto pvt ltd, the one located on Hosur Rd, close to Silk Board flyover? I would like to know about the Service dept.

After a couple of visits, I felt that you invariably have to wait for 10-20 mins before the service supervisor attends to your problem? Once, I had some one listen to the problem and then he took a Scorpio and disappeared, then i had to go in search of another one.

My first time experience has not been that good, so, any tips, any good supervisors who I can specifically ask for?

Weekends seems to be too crowded, weekdays is when one can get a decent work done, in my opinion.

I use to get my Scorpio serviced at Vijai auto since I bought it. Now a days Vijai auto is not doing servicing of Scorpios [dont know the reason, they told for a month of so they wont be doing it].
If anybody can suggest me out of Shireesh and India Garage which is the better one and which branch ?

Sireesh Auto - RT Nagar or Hosur Road.

Mukherji,
go to Sireesh Auto on Hosur road, near silk board junction (old Saturn Hyundai premises). Meet my cousin (Mr.Satish) who works there as Service Manager, tell him you were referred by his cousin Shiva Kumar(your's truly) & that you are a member of team-bhp.com (yes guys, team-bhp is quite popular)
he'll take care of your vehicle.

Mukherji,
Have you serviced your truck at sireesh, if so pls update the feedback, so that it helps others too

I get my Scorpio LX 2.6 CRDE 2007 serviced from Sireesh Auto on Hosur Road.

I interact with Satish in Sireesh Auto very regularly and I am very happy with Satish, though have few problems with my Scorpio. I think the service has improved drastically since he took over in Sireesh Auto as Service Manager, as every one is very keen and on their toes to resolve the issues.

Sireesh Auto is on the way to my office, so keep droping in to Sireesh every time there is a small issue :D

Actually were discussing about you last week, how is your Swift shaping up in Ahmadabad, are you going to drive down with the car next week. Happy Driving.

My trusted Service Advisor who used to work for Cauvery Ford earlier now works at Sireesh Auto on Hosur Road. His name is Biju. He used to take good care of attending to my concerns when i used to give my car for servicing, and i would surely recommend him.

I will avoid Sireesh if I can help it. They mis treat the vehicle there - this is a recent development because when I had my bolero I used to be pretty satisfied with them. Now they have a lot of business and they dont seem to care for their customers.

IMO SKS Auto (they are the new owners of Vijai Auto) is good - because all the people there are still Vijai Auto guys - their Bilekahalli Workshop chaps take very good care of my vehicle - you can ask for and meet Amith there - he will look after your requirements.
India Garage is also good - their technical specialists etc are knowledgeable - but they are always booked solid since they handle Logan, Scorpio, Bolero, Pajero, Lancer etc - though they have different setups for the high end vehicles.

Shankar, I wanted to tell you this earlier but you've probably not met the right folks at Sireesh in Hosur. Moreover, if you're going to be standing next to your vehicle and observing what gets done, there is no chance of mistreatment. That said, its good you found someone to help you during your service - thats paramount.

My vote goes for Sireesh, Hosur Rd. These guys are good. But I must say, Scorpio gets a better treatment than a Bolero. May be its becuz they expect Bolero to take all the abuse and still be the same ol self.

But yeah, in the past one year I have seen a lot of shifts in the top management. Dont know if its for good or bad.

@benbsb29
When did Biju join Sireesh, is it at the Hosur Rd Sireesh? Was it recently? I havent really seen his name on the Service Advisor notice board, the last time I had been there, that was like 2 months ago.

Shankar

My friend used to get his 2005 SLX serviced from Vijay (SKS now) on Bannerghatta Road, but has now switched to Sireesh on hosur road.

The best time to get your Scorpio serviced in Sireesh is in the beginning of the month. Sireesh's service department has a target of 40 vehicle per day (excluding free service and minor repair) and any thing above that over a month will get them their incentive. So in the month end they are trying to meet target for incentive. So is the case with India Garage and will be same with SKS in short time

I would still recommend Sireesh Auto on hosur road and should meet Satish who is the Service Manager

Shiva,

Thanks a ton for your suggestion, really appreciate your help. I used to get my Scorpio serviced at Vijay (BG Road) since I bought it from thier dealership almost 5 years back. I had very good experience at Vijay except for the last two services - they did not have spares as the dealership was closign down. I was a bit worried about the service quality at other centers as I decided to change the service center.

I did meet Satish per your recommendation and I am really happy about it. I must acknowledge that Satish & his team took excellent care of the vehicle and all jobs were done on time and to my satisfaction. I left Sireesh as a happy customer and I'll be going back there for the next service.

Regards,
Satheesh

I've felt this too, and the reason for the lower preference given to the Bolero is not because of it's toughness but because of the clientele each vehicle caters to.

Good tips provided one is willing to take that extra trouble.

Anyways, I had given my Bolero to Sireesh for the 5K service a couple of months back and today I gave it to Vijai Auto for the 10K service. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed... I guess I'll be in a position to say tomorrow which is my prefered service point. Vijai already has an edge because they are closer home.

Guys,
I just got 2 PVR any movie, any show gift coupons from Sireesh. Looks like some promo offer, they gave me a code, and I could exchange that for 2 PVR movie tickets. :)

Not sure if this is a Mahindra initiative or Sireesh's, at PVR it was just 'Sireesh' on the display.

One happy customer here. Sireesh knows how to take care of their customer. :thumbs up

Greetings !

My friend is looking to buy a Scorpio soon, the SLX model . which dealer is the best in Bangalore ? Any advice on whom to contact ?

Appreciate the help . Thanks
