BLR Mahindra dealer Vijay Auto - shut shop??

Guys,
Does some one have any detail on this? I got to hear that the Mahindra dealer Vijay Auto has/is being shut down? Is it true?

I did notice their Koramangala showroom was gathering dust for quiet some time, the display vehicles were removed a couple of months ago. Back then I thought it was a routine showroom remodeling.

But last weekend when I had been to Sireesh, Hosur Road, I had commented on the number of vehicles that came in for service. And the chap there said, Vijay auto is shutting down, so we are overloaded.

If this is the case, its bad news! Just 2 dealers and their 4-5 workshops cannot cater to the needs of all mahindra vehicles in bangalore. Guess its time some one opened an exclusive Mahindra workshop. Something in the lines of Maruthi authorized garage. Else, its time I found some independent garage who is less strained, and can do some quality work on my vehicle.

Their Bannerghatta Rd showroom is not showing much action either. So, is possibly true.

Recently Vijay motors (same vijay group, but for GM) called me and said they have closed only the dealership and not the service for the GM cars. So, it may be same with Mahindra too.

just check with them

I spoke to a sales guy at Vijai auto and he mentioned too that they were not shutting shop but were taking a "rain-check" on the business.

Wonder how long this is going to go on.

Which side of the city are you from? There is always Sireesh auto, Hosur Rd, close to Silk board.

BTW, you did mention WhiteField, which dealership is that?

Hi SpeedGun,

You can go to Sireesh. Our GSMINC's relative Satheesh is there. You can tell him that you got his reference from team-bhp.
