i10 Delivery Delayed: Need Help

Abhi,

i did want to tell you the same thing about the time of delivery. My car's delivery was delayed till it got dark, since they had damaged the bumpers of my IVTEC during the first service.

Gemithomas is absolutely right on this !

Hi people,
Guess what, my brother in law took the delivery yesterday itself.
It was raining cats and dogs in delhi NCR yesterday.
We were supposed to reach the showroom by 5pm. but we got delayed till 9pm. There were really bad traffic jams. But we got the car inspected through a close relative when it wasn't raining and it was daylight.
Everything is perfect.

When we reached there, all the papers were in place. Cross checked everything, manufacturing month and year is July 09. (quite recent)

Not even a single mark on the car. Checked all the electricals. checked inside out. All the accesories were in order except for the steering wheel cover. Got it replaced there and then.

Signed all the papers, handed over the DD. All set!

My sister did a small puja, and after that keys were handed over to my 7 month old nephew.

First drive:
i10 sportz drives like silk. when we moved out it was hell outside.
Stopped at the first HP bunk and got a tank full of fuel. now headed towards home. it was really late. and we finally reached home at around 11pm.

Difficulties faced:
Here all the difficulties were faced by my car (Santro). when I was going to pick them from home to showroom there is a streach where there is a railway bridge overhead. Totally waterclogged. I moved my car with utmost care. but when I noticed I had lost my front number plate.

Next there was so much water logging in the service lane near hero honda chowk in gurgaon that the screws of the plastic above wheel arc's came out.

I don't know from where, but water came inside my car

- co-drivers seat. Will have to get it drycleaned.

The amazing part. When we were returning fromt he "pahadi" wala rasta which connects gurgaon to faridabad. My Santro got a left front flat tyre. got it replaced in rain. dropped my brother in law, my sister, my nephew and their new car "safely" at their place at 11pm.

After this I was going back to my house which is just 10kms away. but it took 3 and a half hours to cover this distance. totally packed with trucks and cars honking. Why? i don't know!

In the end it was a good experience with Superon Hyundai - after the car came and till delivery.

Today my brother in law would be taking the car to some nearby temple.

have taken some picture, will post them by evening or tomorrow morning.

Hi Srinivas, Thank you so much for remembering me. Yes, we have got the delivery of i10. I have already given the delivery experience few posts back. The car is running good! It's a nice car

Dear Gandhi, Thank you very much for your wishes. I will try to keep you all updated on driving experience, service experience and FE etc. "I will try" - because my brother in law has actually brought the car. I drive a Xing.
