I had given my car to the Concorde Motors Service station on Hosur Road on 20July2009.
I met the service advisor and told him that my earlier experience with concorde was not good so please take extra care this time (last time i got some minor scratches) .
My right front door window was not working so gone there to rectify it. Service guys had rectified the issue but when I had gone there to take my car. I was shocked to see multiple deep scratches on the bonnet. Guy who did it tried to hide it very smartly but because the touching done was fresh, dust clinged to it. So it immediately caught my attention. I had shown it to the service advisor, he said its just a dust but when i told him to clean it then the whole touching came out and the scratches became visible. I was very angry then Customer Relationship Manager told me that if I left the vehicle any other day then he will take care of it personally and get the bonnet and the bumper repainted (bumper paint job was done earlier by concorde hosur road for which now the paint itself is peeling off). I left the vehicle again but when I had gone there to see the work done, I noticed that very very poor paint job was done on the bonnet. Rather it spoiled the whole thing. There are bubbles in the paint job, paint is not matched and surface is really uneven.
Again complained to CRM. He took a notice of the issue and told me to come back once again and then he will take care of all the issues. I am really afraid of giving back my vehicle to concorde motors because I am not sure if I get the proper result from the paint job and will get the vehicle in good condition. This is not the first time it happened with me. Last time I had done a paint job for the front bumper from same service station and that paint is now started peeling off.
Eventhough CRM is not saying no and ready to get it repainted but If I give my vehicle for the promised paint job by CRM (Customer Relationship Manager), then it should be done in a professional way with proper finish and without spoiling other parts.
Because of service people's fault my new car has to undergo paint job which is really annoying.
CRM seems to be helpful but people who has to rectify the paint job are not at all professional or they don't want to do their job properly. But I did not like that CRM had called me to collect the vehicle without properly checking the vehicle inspite of my repeated request over the phone.
When I had shown the faults in the paint job and when first time I had shown the scratches, at those both moments nobody had questioned the people who had worked on my car.
I have attached 2 photos . One which shows the main scratch on the bonnet and other is the last time's paint job where the paint itself is coming out.
I had shown the paint jobs to one of the reputed paintshop station in Bangalore and he told me exactly what is wrong with the job. According to him job done is not at professional. In no scenario the paint should come out like it is happening in my case.
I am in a dilemma now - should I give the CRM one more chance or simply go to some professional paintshop station and get the things done.
in any case I have already raised this concern by posting a feedback on the the Tata Site
Tata Motors Customer Support :: Complaint
and I will mail this thread to the
Customercare@tatamotors.com and
service@fiapl.com so that people who had done it should have some feeling of responsibility and accountability
Its really painful when u get scratches without your own fault and with trust I had given the vehicle and in return a got a very bad paint job which made a bigger portion of the bonnet look ugly.
