GM Dealership - Bharti Automobile Shifting to Tata-Fiat-LAND ROVER

Hi Folks,

Today I got call from Bharti Automobile. I thought it might be a normal follow up or some offer call.

It turned out to be "Bharti is now closing the dealership with GM and moving to TATA-FIAT-LAND ROVER"

They wanted to provide the information that if I need anything from the new dealership. The estimated shift would happen in Mid October 09.

I was like what the hell. We only had 2 service centers in Suburbs of Mumbai and now one is closing down.

I remember reading this week that there is a new dealership SC GM opened at Thane which made a happy seeing the delaerships are increasing.

Now that Bharti is closing down, we only have 1 service center in Mumbai suburbs.

Does naybody have any information on any new dealership opening in suberbs?

I know of Nikhil Motors/Auto, they are opposite Koparkhairane Station on the Thane Belapur Road. I have done a TD of Chevy Magnum recently there.
