Need Reference for Fiat Mechanic in Bangalore (near Sarjapur Road O.R.R.)

Folks, newbie here. This seemed like the best place to ask this question.

I'm looking to buy a used Palio and would like to have it inspected by a mechanic before deciding. I'm in the Sarjapur O.R.R. area near Total Mall and the car is near Bellandur. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the area whose services I can use for inspection? Someone that knows Fiats well would be preferable.

A search on Google turned up Raj Motors RAJ MOTORS - Multibranded 4 Wheleer Service Station
Anyone used them before?

The nearest Fiat SC would be: GreenTracks, Hosur Road (Near Silkboard jn).

Thanks Finneyp! Called GreenTracks and they charge Rs. 300 for the inspection. However, they need the car brought to them. I doubt the seller will let me borrow the car before making a sale, but I'll certainly see if that is possible. I will be seeing the car tomorrow.

jill,

why dont you take the owner with you. You can request him to oblige. Moreover taking the car all by yourself is also risky. You never know. Or you can take the service centre guys to the owner's place.

Thanks Srinivasnandan. GreenTracks will not send anyone outside. By chance, I bumped into a Palio owner from my apartment who was happy with the nearby Raj Motors.
I'm planning to ask the seller of the car to bring it there tomorrow. I'll update this thread end of the day tomorrow.

Didn't get to check the car today, unfortunately. The seller was unavailable. Will check tomorrow, have made an appointment with Raj Motors at 4 pm. The owner at Raj Motors seemed genuinely concerned about my intention to buy a Palio. He tells me the spares are expensive and that Palios have low resale values.
I smile over the phone and ask him if the cars themselves are okay. He replies that Palios are great vehicles if I am prepared for the two downsides. I am.

Ok, just to wrap this up. I ended up getting the car inspected at Raj Motors. They seemed professional and genuinely good natured. I didn't get the car but I plan to buy a Palio pretty soon so I will be seeing them again and hopefully they will end up being my regular service station.

I am using them for small work like bumper dent removal, coolant change etc

I am in the same situation, seeing a 2010 manza quadrajet tomorrow @Bommanahalli. Any references for a good mechanic? The link for Raj motors given above is not working, anyone got their number?
