Late Service/Warranty

I was due for my first service of my ikon TDCI on the 17th of this month. I couldnt agree for a pick up since they said they can only do that at 10:30am. I have to be out of town this week, and can only goto metro on saturday. I have clocked 4800kms. If i service it on saturday the 27th, is my warranty void. Metro ford said 7-10 days late is fine.
P.S. first service was due before Feb 17th/5000kms. The free service coupons have no date printed on them.

10 to 15 days is fine.
If it exceeds a month, they may consider it as second free service. You might loose a free service.
There is nothing like warranty void for late service.
There is a pollution under control warranty provided by all manufacturers, for say a year or two. You don't need to carry PUC certificate along with other docs when this is in place.
For this, they insist that service been done regularly - Again this does not mean you do service exactly at the date mentioned by service center.
In any case, 15 days should be fine.

That should be fine i guess but make sure to inform them in advace. I did the same with my spark's 30000 km service. I was to go on a outstation for 800 kms approx and my odo was at 29500 so i called GM and made sure that there wont be any problem and they agreed.
Coming back from an outsation trip and then getting it serviced made more sense to me, all the dirt and toll it took got vanished in the service.

The warranty of my Alto specifies all mandatory services must be carried out at a MASS, not later than a month from the due date. Failure to comply can void the warranty.
