DHFL General Insurance has introduced a customizable online comprehensive car insurance policy called COCODrive. It comes with Outstanding Loan Protector that is usually offered with life insurance policies and personal accident cover up to Rs. 35 lakh.



COCODrive offers 19 add-ons including 'Zero Dep Cover', 'New Car for Old Car', 'Key & Lock Replacement' and 'NCB Secure' among others. The EMI Protector and Outstanding Loan Protector add-ons help in vehicle financing in case of an accident during the loan period.

During the online purchase process, customers are offered suggestions to help them choose the right add-ons depending on their location. Customers from Mumbai will be shown the Engine Protector add-on as the city is more prone to flooding than other cities.

COCODrive provides coverage across India as well as in neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives.
