I've claimed insurance from two companies, TATA AIG and Bajaj Allianz.
TATA AIG claim was for around 97k and the BA was for 14k.
Both were hassle free. BA was cashless but took some time. TATA AIG was quick, but I had to pay the service center upfront.
Currently have one car insured with TATA AIG and one with Reliance.

I have a good experience with Bajaj Allianze. Online facility of renewing Motor Insurance policy is very good. I did my Bike policy renew within 3-5 minutes and got the insurance papers with in 2-3 days.

I have tried four different insurance companies in the past four years. My exp with them,

Bajaj Alliance - Hassle free cashless claim but experienced very bad customer service at the time of renewal. So went for TATA AIG
Tata AIG - Don't even think about them, bunch of cheats
MS Cholamandalam - Hassle free cashless claim and good customer support, overall very satisfied
Relaince General - Very good customer support but no claims yet

Of all the insurance companies ive tried i found Reliance to be most hassle free and they took no time passing full claim for my Accent.

I have had an experience of Reliance in Nov 06. Was pretty hassle free and good. I never had to get involved at all. Cashless was processed efficiently and I had to only pay the non-insured portion to the dealer. Overall good experience.
Now since my current car was previously owned by my company, I have National Insurance. No experience as yet. But I plan to change it to Bajaj Allianz when it comes for renewal, after hearing the good reports out here. National Insurance does not have cashless.

Bajaj allianz is also good one to deal so far paying renewal premium is easy.

Onething we need to keep in mind if we bargain hard they will reduce the premium by giving voluntary discounts. which means if they had given 2500/- as voluntary discount at the time of claim we need to pay 2500/- apart from minimum amount payment like 700/- or 1000/- which is common with every insurance policy.

But still it will work out fine because we need to payback to them what we availed as voluntary discount only if claim is there. If there is no claim then it means we saved that voluntary discount money

So in either way one must bargain hard when we renew the plicy. For my Innova IDV value 5.76 lac Bajaj quotes 17,400/- and icici quotes for 6.21 lacs idv value 16,062/-.

This includes NO claim bonus from the begining and I am second owner.

ICICI offer look good to eyes i am studying which is ideal one.

Regards,

Ravi.

I am insured with Royal Sundaram and I have made a claim so far. This was a cashless claim and I am pretty satisfied with their service.

NCB is earned by you. So you have the rights to retain it. No matter which insurance company you shift to.

help me..

if you ask me i suggest only the government based companies, even if they lack the door step agents, online renewals and stuff, they atleast dont cheat you like the corporates do!

just search for the icici in the search and you should find plenty of complaints and experiences explaining how notorious these guys can get!

and to tell you there are service centers with the cashless claim even with the govt insurance companies.

well this is my experience and i am going to get all my cars insured by one of them govt insurance companies and not the corporates!

If you are having Maruti vehicle it is better to have Maruti Insurance.

If Tata vehicles then Reliance & Tata AIG insurance

For others i have not checked up the tie - ups between the companies, but The Oriental Insurance & New India Assurance are doing a good job in sorting out the issues for the faster claim.

I agree.
I have National Insurance through Maruti Insurance. https://www.marutiinsurance.com
They did cashless claims & the website also says online renewals though
I haven't tried out the renewal.

Looks hot competition going on, TATA AIG offered me premium of 16103/- for 2006 Innova G3, 5.71 lacs as IDV. They give 3000/- worth sevice coupons in select service stations(around 10+ stations in Bangalore) and 3 days free stay in one of 24+ tourist place hotels in india and 3 abroad. I am more confused now which offer to consider.

Regards,

Ravi.

Does any of these private insurance companies have two-wheeler insurance?

I'm sick of the attitude of the chaps sitting at nationalised insurance companies. Oriental being one of the worst in Trivandrum. If any of these private insurance company provide two-wheeler TPFT insurance i sure would like to make the switch next time.
