Fiat is offering free insurance on Punto for this Diwali, which is upto Rs. 18000/- of benefit. However, with no-claim bonus incentives as gained from previous car, the insurance amount for me will be in range of Rs. 10000/- to 11000/-. That means, it will be savings for Fiat if I submit my no claims bonus.

Will be advisable that we retain and use the no claim bonus for next year?

What are pros (and cons) if we want to use no-claim bonus this year? I would like to know if the discount percentage will keep increasing every year, and if so, my insurance amount will be lesser next year.

If I do use no-claim bonus this year, it will benefit Fiat. How to claim the the difference amount of about Rs. 7000 to 8000 from Fiat using some other options (e.g. free accessories)? Has anyone tried it?
