BInz i got your point and i am aware of that. Maruti does that but Skoda doesnot and so doesnot HONDA or Chevrolet. Chevrolet never dispose their cars.

Hey binz... in India everything is crooked. Are you under the impression that a 'Honda demo car' belongs to Honda? No pal... it is a part of the infrastructure cost for the dealer. He needs to invest in a Demo Car. That he does as there is no way out of it. However he saves on the disposing part... if he runs the car without the speedo working he saves on the kilometers. So basically that 20000 never clocks up so early on the Odo.

By the way, most of the cars used for demos, Honda or any other, have the Demo Car stickers on them. Most dealers (Honda or any other) have to invest in one. And for most of them the speedo frequently does not work...

Thats alright but the worst is toyota they give customer cars which come for service for test drive. Ichibaan used to do it but after GTOs case they dont even let any one sit in customer cars.

The asking price is 85K but you can negotiate it and get it for 65K. The Cars are not flood affected. Infact the cars have been auctioned of to the garage owner in Kurla from Jet Airways who were selling them. They are 20 in Number and are having resitration in line. (i.e 6445,6446, something like that) The cars are in good condition. AC works very good.

Will post more info soon and pics too, but not before republic day so guys you have to wait as i wasnot able to go there, due to hectic schedule. Will be going by the end of this week and give you numbers and exact locations. So dont worry.

Now does anyone have a idea which will be the best engine transplant for the 1.2??
