Exactly - everyone was saying prices have been reduced. I had checked (top model) Logan one day before the Verito came and price seem to have increased.

I was confused - now you put it right.

Also in the top model Logan, the brochure said Leather seats were standard. In the Verito the brochure is silent about that.

Actually thats what confuses me. But in cities like Mumbai / Delhi the thieves even don't leave the logos of logan. It is not even of any weight or value but still it is not spared.

I guess not with the big size, there are chances of it getting spared.

I must say the M&M logo integration on the front grille is weird! What's with the tooth fixation?! Just the logo would have gelled very well. Despite all the feedback they have received, they dont seem to care.

The Logan just got M&M'ed! Digging into the Scorpio parts bin for a Logan refresh?! Thats like giving Laloo Yadav a 50-Cent makeover!

Alright, the rear chrome strip is an Etios rip off-but at least it makes the bland rear look well, acceptable. The new grille makes the Verito look like an octogenarian on his last remaining tooth, no offense. And side cladding/roof rails on a sedan?? Plus the 15k increase in price for a botched up cosmetic surgery...enough said.

Guys don't bash Mahindra so much. All will agree that M&M makes good vehicles with good quality at good price. Now that they have invested a lot in Logan project along with Renault, they need to find a way to recover that money. They are trying very hard to sell Logan now Verito in large numbers so that they could recover some more.

IMO, Mahindra should target Taxi business mainly. It has huge potential for this car. With only taxi market, they can manage sales of around 2K car per month also if they market it. They need to understand that people have trust in them & they need to stand for that.

Hey Common guys, People are bashing it up no matter what.

In my opinion..

Its definitely better looking than the original Renault Logan design.
Its also better looking than a Dezire.

Martha Stewarts bottom looks better than a Swift Dezire, but I agree overall, this is a much nicer looking car. Still, despite the many comparisons to the Etios' rear end (especially the chrome strip), I feel the Etios is a much better looking car.

Robust, Maybe.
But this isn't a car thats going to give you a feel-good feeling when you sit inside. (again, it's not like the Etios has class leading interiors, but it's still better than the Logan)

All in all, I'm quite curious to see which car will come out on top once the Etios Diesel launches, as they both seem to have similar USP's. Solid build quality, unquestionable reliability and value-for-money.

Maybe its just me, but the word Verito, if read from afar, is similar to Vento, except the two look worlds apart!

Etios diesel may well sell better (Toyota brand image) but here's the thing - Logan reliability is field tested, while Etios (while probably reliable) is something you take as an article of faith (it's a Toyota)

You can understand when you all download the brochure from Mahindra Verito | New Sedan | Mahindra Verito India | Mahindra Car and try to figure out that the car has an unmistakeably mahindra lineage. The roof rails, the side skirts, the tacky chrome bar etc. No, I am not tom toming myself. You all see it to believe it. And then they were saying that "the era of sedans is over".......because the era of crossover sedans is on.
