Thats correct, the image is morphed. But it is also true that new Endy is based on Ranger.

I am sure the New Endeavour Will look much better that PS job by ACI! But ford needs to sort out the ride quality and that size(5 meters long!!!) major factor which goes against the Endeavour! Hopefully after the XUV launch ford should not increase the price by much or offer loads of features! Fortuner may have a strong competitor!

+1, I am also waiting for this, now. Any news on launch? I see there is no change in Thailand for far (Everest), so I think its not in the cord for near future - at least till the end of year. But, any scoop from someone else?

Developing market specific models like Fortuner, Everest etc, show up in Thailand and other advanced asian markets before India. So typically we have to wait for a few months after Thai launch to see it on our shores.

I checked with a couple of dealers in Mumbai / Navi Mumbai, no one seems to have a clue and they did not even make an effort to convince me for the existing model. They have kept my number in the data base and said that I will be updated if there is any news.

According to the article published on 11th march 2013 on the website www.themotorreport.com , the launch of the new endeavour/everest should have been just around the corner as they were making bold claims of insider information but the claims of revealing dates have been unfounded laying doubts over the veracity of the article.

A search request to the great guru GOOGLE reveals that the general consensus is that it will be launched no sooner than 2014
