Spotted a black A7 in Bandra on Saturday. The car was too quick for me to see any more than the Audi logo and the A7 badging. Have seen number of A4s, A6s and few A8s but this was the first A7 spotting.

Even I have seen a black A7 many times. Dont know whether its the same car. Frankly, I dont find anything special in the A7.

Audi A7 Facelift spotted in Germany

Believed that is where they will install the latest Matrix LED technology.

Just like the bigger Audi A8, trapezoidal exhaust pipes have been fitted. This will be standard across the normal A7 range, but not fitted to the S7 and RS7. Also like the A8, new and improved engines will be fitted. For example, the popular 3.0 TDI will be upgraded from 245 PS to 250 PS or 258 PS. Still no word on if the A7 will get bigger and better engines, such as the 4.2-liter TDI with 385 PS that is available on the bigger A8.

Its surprising that not a single facelifted RS5 has made it to Bombay yet. I haven't seen any spottings in other cities in India too, besides the test event cars.

Rising $$$ rates, import duties etc have made premium car brands / CBU's to stick to low volume high profit strategy. But with a 20L jump in the RS5, sadly its like a 'no' volume situation.

Audi RS5 triple-charged TDI concept to celebrate TDI milestone.
Ever thought of swapping RS5's 4.2 l V8 with a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo-diesel with an electric supercharger added on to combat turbo lag?

Audi did that, and here is the result;
A staggering 236 lb-ft more torque!

The engine produces 385 PS (283 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque and is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
This setup enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately four seconds, hit a top speed in excess of 280 km/h (174 mph) and consume less than 5 L/100km (47 mpg US / 56.4 mpg UK).

For comparison, the standard RS5 has 450 PS (331 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque which enables it to run from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
