i voted for the 350z..
RWD plenty of base power...it is a pedigree tuner in this list ..i dont even look at FWD cars no matter how many horse you dump under that hood it's still the last option ..
rotary engines are harder to work with and you cannot gain phenomenal horsepower even though the RX8 has perfect weight distribution due to that tiny powerplant for me the second place would go to the Mustang (shelby if i may )..
i wasnt a Mustang fan till the 2005 series came out ...has a wider track and known to have a much better engine response and handling ...amazing street presence ..

actually I had put the title before I put in the options. please looks carefully at the options and you will see I have not selected any convertible but they still remain to be tuner cars(mustang is tuned by shelby and saleen)

and FYI Acura belongs to Honda.

Wow,

A draw is what is seen currently between the modern style Nissan against the retro Ford.

Mazda with the turbine tech is catching up too.

Oh! No. I didn't know the production of the Skyline had stopped. Does this mean that Nissan are planning to launch a replacement for the Skyline?
Sorry I haven't been upto date these days.

they should launch a new replacement pretty soon. Nismo(read that as Nissan) has been out of news lately. certainly they are working on something new.

I just sat in all the roadsters above at the Toronto AutoSHow

I want to change my vote now.

FOrd mustang sucks with that crude feel.

Mazda is good and sporty but Ford's collabration has taken its toll on the build quality

Acura Rsx and mitsubishi eclipse surprisingly have better build quality

Best of the lot is nissan 350z.

Man, you forgot to include 2006 Honda Civic Si. It blows away all the competition. I was not a fan of the honda's offering lookwise ever.. especially civic. But after seeing the 2006 Civic Coupe Si, I fell in love with it. I saw it with a Spinner wheel this weekend in Miami.. and man it looks awesome with that fire red color.. didn't have much time to snap it.. but it's definitely the car I would always lust for.. Here are some pics and specs and possible mod here:

My choice is the 350Z, easiest car to modify among the these cars. RX8 comes close second.
